An all-new Smart Hybrid Keyboard Action using a unique spruce and resin construction perfectly balances portability and authenticity. As well as measuring the velocity of each key press, the PX-S7000 also detects the variation in each key release, simulating the tonal changes that can be achieved on an acoustic piano from letting the string dampers return quickly or slowly.
The integrated three-pedal unit provides damper, sostenuto and soft pedal controls, the same as a traditional grand piano. The damper pedal is continuous, allowing you to vary the degree of damper sustain depending on how fully the pedal is depressed, making effects such as half-pedalling possible.
Multi-dimensional morphing AiR sound source with 400 built in tones including acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs and strings which can be layered and split between upper and lower zones. An integrated arpeggiator allows arpeggiated chords and other musical phrases from keys held down.
The PX-S7000 advanced features allow you to connect a microphone and hear your vocals through the integrated speakers and headphones. Headphone mode automatically optimizes the sound creating a more natural listening experience. Audio recorder and MIDI recorder record your playing as a WAV file or as MIDI song data. With Bluetooth and wireless it’s easy to use music learning apps or play along to your favourite tracks.
