We opened our first Hove store in 1994 and in 2014 we moved along Portland Road to a larger shop at number 163. Hove stocks the largest range of instruments on display of all our shops. If you are looking for mid-range to professional clarinets, flutes, saxophones, trumpets, violins, cellos etc, then this is the place to go. Hove also stocks the student ranges and we have private areas where you can try out instruments, along with an excellent show room to browse around. We also stock a large selection of sheet music in Hove.

We’ve recently moved our repair workshop to a new dedicated site, allowing us to improve our facilities and provide an even better service to our customers. Although our workshop is now separate from our shops, our commitment to quality remains the same. Every instrument is carefully checked, inspected and set up by our experienced team before it is sold or sent to you.

Instruments can travel a surprisingly long way before reaching us, sometimes all the way from Japan, and they don’t always perform at their best straight out of the box. Our experienced workshop team gives every instrument a thorough check and any necessary adjustments, so when it arrives with you, it’s ready to play and performing as it should.
