This is a very interesting model, in that it comes with a separate extension down to low C. Without the extension piece it plays down to low D.

This has 2 very important advatages:-

• A more manageable and lighter instrument when low C# and C are not required
• The case is smaller and easier to carry around. Being the size of an alto saxophone case, you may be able to carry it as hand luggage
