12 Months Interest Free Credit - Representative 0% APR
To help make your purchase as simple as possible, Ackerman Music Ltd now offer 12 months INTEREST FREE finance. This is available on any instrument over £389.
You will need to pay a minimum 10% deposit and then pay the balance in 12 monthly instalments - completely interest free.
You can also include accessories and sheet music as part of your loan to help you manage these costs. So, if you want to start learning the clarinet for example, you could get everything you need, clarinet, music stand, clarinet stand, reeds, cleaning kit and music and spread the cost over 12 months at no extra cost to you!
Applying for a Loan
You can apply for a loan either by visiting one of our shops or phone us on 01273 702444 to apply by mail order.
To apply for a loan you must:
- be between 18 and 75
- have a permanent UK address
- have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
- be in paid work for at least 16 hours per week
- provide acceptable ID
- pay the deposit by chip & pin credit or debit card - the card must be in the name of the person applying

You can apply for between £350 and £12,000. The £350 loan plus the 10% deposit means that only instruments over £389 are available.

When will I know the loan has been accepted?As the loan is processed by us online you will get an instant answer when you apply within one of our shops or by phone.
Do I need proof of address or ID?Yes.
If you apply in person in store you only need to bring your chip & pin debit or credit card and your bank details in order to set up the Direct Debit.
If you are applying by mail order then please send photocopies of 2 other forms of ID.
What forms of ID are acceptable?Acceptable ID can be a photocopy of any of the following:
- Passport
- UK drivers licence (card & counterfoil are required)
- Utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months
