Casio Privia PX-S7000 Digital Piano

Designed to Look and Sound Exceptional

A digital piano should do more than reproduce the sound of an acoustic piano. It should feel inspiring to play, look at home in your living space and offer the flexibility to suit the way you enjoy music. The Casio Privia PX-S7000 brings these qualities together in a stylish instrument that combines sophisticated technology with the character and feel of a traditional grand piano.

From its elegant integrated stand and pedals to its impressive piano sounds and expressive keyboard action, the PX-S7000 has been designed to make playing music a pleasure. Its compact design also makes it an excellent choice for modern homes where space is limited.

Beautiful from Every Angle

One of the first things you notice about the PX-S7000 is its design. Unlike many digital pianos, where the keyboard and stand feel like separate components, Casio has created the PX-S7000 as one complete piece of furniture. The piano, stand and pedal unit work together as a single, elegant design.

Clean lines and an uncluttered appearance give the piano a contemporary look, while subtle details reflect the styling of a traditional acoustic piano. The wood-grain finish on the stand complements the piano, while the matching pedal unit and metal frame create a polished, coordinated appearance.

The PX-S7000 is available in three distinctive finishes: Harmonious Mustard, Black and White. Whether you prefer a classic or more contemporary look, there is an option to suit your home.

A transparent acrylic music stand is included, along with a matching piano cover. Despite its full-size 88-key keyboard and integrated stand, the PX-S7000 has a remarkably compact profile, with a front-to-back depth of just 242mm.

The Sound of Three Great Grand Pianos

Of course, appearance is only part of the story. What really matters is how a piano sounds and feels when you sit down to play.

The PX-S7000 features three specially developed Privia Grand piano sounds inspired by three iconic concert grand styles: Hamburg, New York and Berlin. Each has its own distinctive tonal character, allowing you to choose a sound that suits different pieces and playing styles.

Whether you enjoy classical music, jazz, pop or simply playing for pleasure, these sounds provide an expressive and detailed foundation. You can choose a warmer, more intimate tone or something brighter and more powerful depending on the music.

Casio’s Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source recreates the complex characteristics of an acoustic piano. The sound responds dynamically to the way you play, allowing quieter playing to remain delicate and expressive while stronger playing produces greater power and intensity.

Casio has also recreated many of the subtle resonances that contribute to the character of a real acoustic piano. Open String Resonance and Aliquot Resonance modelling add further depth, helping to create a rich and convincing piano tone with natural-sounding overtones.

A Keyboard Designed for Expression

A great piano sound needs an equally responsive keyboard. The PX-S7000 features Casio’s Smart Hybrid Hammer Action Keyboard, combining a physical hammer-action mechanism with digital control technology.

The result is an 88-key keyboard designed to provide the weight, resistance and response expected from a traditional piano while retaining the advantages of a digital instrument.

This expressive response allows players to control volume and tone through the weight and speed of their fingers. For beginners, it provides a quality playing experience that can support good technique as they develop. For more experienced pianists, it offers the control needed for expressive playing and demanding repertoire.

The high-quality pedal unit is designed to provide a realistic tactile response similar to that of an acoustic grand piano, helping techniques such as sustain and expressive pedal work feel natural.

An Immersive Sound Experience

Casio has developed the PX-S7000’s Spatial Sound System to provide a more immersive listening experience. Four individually driven full-range speakers are housed within a rigid wood/resin composite structure, helping create a broad and detailed sound.

The Piano Position function allows the acoustics to be optimised according to where the piano is positioned. Settings include Standard, Wall, Center and Table, allowing you to tailor the sound to your room.

This is particularly useful in a home environment, where the piano may need to be positioned against a wall or in a particular part of the room. Rather than having to work around the instrument, the PX-S7000 can be adjusted to suit its surroundings.

More Than Just a Piano

Although the PX-S7000 is designed primarily as a piano, it offers plenty of features for musicians who enjoy exploring different sounds and styles.

Alongside its acoustic piano voices are carefully created electric piano tones, including sounds associated with well-known recordings. These are ideal for players interested in jazz, pop, rock and contemporary music.

The included WU-BT10 Wireless MIDI & Audio Adaptor provides another useful feature, allowing you to connect a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth Audio. You can then play music through the PX-S7000’s speaker system, whether you are listening to your favourite recordings, practising with backing tracks or simply enjoying music at home.

Technology That Encourages You to Play

The PX-S7000 combines its extensive features with a clean and easy-to-use control panel. The flat top panel includes an LED touch ring, touch controls and a backlit LCD display, while the top-panel LED illumination adds a stylish visual element.

A Piano for Modern Living

Perhaps the greatest strength of the Casio Privia PX-S7000 is the way all its features work together. It has the appearance of a carefully designed piece of furniture, the playing experience of a sophisticated digital piano and the expressive sound expected from a high-quality acoustic instrument.

Its compact dimensions make it particularly appealing for modern homes, while the integrated stand and pedals mean you do not need to purchase additional furniture to complete your setup.

The choice of three finishes also means the PX-S7000 can complement your interior rather than simply being something that needs to be hidden away when you are not playing.

For beginners, it offers an impressive instrument to grow into. For experienced pianists, its responsive keyboard, detailed grand piano sounds and resonance modelling provide the control needed for expressive playing. And for families, singers and musicians who enjoy a variety of styles, its Bluetooth, microphone and additional sounds offer plenty of opportunities to explore.
