FF Fortissimo silver plated ligature, large version for regular rubber or ebonite saxophone mouthpieces.
The Fortissimo represents a new way to secure the reed to the clarinet mouthpiece, replacing the conventional ligature system. It frees the reed without forcing it. The ring touches neither the mouthpiece nor the reed, meaning vibration loss is cut and greater sound projection achieved, allowing for subtler control and effects such as Slap, Subtone and Flat.
The ligature has three holders: Rubber support with two lengthways lines, Metal support with two lengthways lines, Four- pointed metal support.
This version will fit most alto or tenor saxophone mouthpieces.
Nb. Cap is included with this model. Picture shows clarinet version with cap.
