The Yamaha YTS-480 tenor saxophone is one step ahead. With a little more resistance, it has an authoritative sound, but a great flexibility due to the separated key guards.

The Yamaha YTS-480 succeeds its incredibly popular predecessor, the YTS-475. Based on the YTS-475 saxophone, the YTS-480 tenor saxophone is even further enhanced with a new low B-C# connection for better adjustment and a new octave system from the 62 series that facilitates the use of custom necks. This means you can alter the sound of the YTS-480 by changing the neck to a custom Yamaha model.

The Case

The Yamaha YTS-480 comes in a smart black, durable, zip-up fitted case. The YTS-480's case features a large, zip-up external accessory pocket, 2 durable carry handles and hide-away back-pack straps that can be zipped away when not needed. There is also a detachable shoulder strap. The exterior is finished with attractive detailing, featuring the Yamaha logo and white stitching.

The case lid opens wide to allow easy access to the saxophone and a large internal storage area. This case will provide excellent protection for your saxophone and is easy to carry.
