Yamaha YFL-311GL Flute
The YFL311GL can easily see an intermediate player through to the higher grades. The precious metal head gives a denser, more focused sound, and this combines with the durability of a silver plated body and keys to make this an excellent intermediate instrument.
The YFL311GL is basically the same as the YFL211, but with a solid silver headjoint and gold lip plate.
The headjoint is an important factor in determining the tone. The gold lip plate adds warmth to the tone and, of course, adds a little something to the look of the instrument. The YFL311GL flute features a precious metal headjoint, a nickel-silver body and foot and a gold lip plate, which all combine to make a lovely dark warm tone.
NB. The picture shows the YFL311 (no gold lip plate).
CY Headjoint
Featuring a double flare taper and a unique embouchure hole undercut design for excellent response and a warm rich tone, the CY headjoint helps beginners quickly learn to produce a beautiful sound. More advanced players will appreciate its even, quick response in all registers.
