Are you upgrading from your old instrument?

We are offering a part exchange value for your old instrument when you purchase any Yamaha woodwind or brass instrument. For example, upgrade your student clarinet to an intermediate or professional Yamaha clarinet.

It doesn't matter what model your old instrument is, or even what condition it's in, we guarantee you will get between £50 and £230 (see table below for details).

We can also part exchange an instrument of a different sort, eg. if you have an old trumpet and you wish to buy a new Yamaha saxophone. Exchange values will vary, so please contact us for a quote.

Nb. This scheme cannot be used in conjunction with 0% finance schemes.

What to do

  1. Contact us to confirm what instrument you have to part exchange and how much you will receive
  2. Order your shiny new instrument through our website in the normal way, but add a note within the checkout saying "Yamaha Upgrade Scheme". Don't forget to browse our music section for new music to play!
  3. Your new instrument will be sent straight to you
  4. Send your old instrument to us, together with your contact details and order number of your new purchase
  5. Once we have processed your old instrument, we will send you a cheque for the amount shown below
  6. Enjoy your brand new Yamaha instrument
  7. Spread the word about this great offer to your friends

If you would like to pay us a personal visit and come to one of our 4 shops, then please do. Bring the instrument you want to part exchange and we will be able to take the value off the price of your new Yamaha instrument at the time of purchase.
