The V16 was lauched in 1993 to answer the demand of some American jazz musicians (a Java with even more wood).
A thicker tip than the Traditional Vandoren reeds and a longer pallet make the sound more brilliant and more percussive, particulary well adapted to all the new styles of music.

In order to keep your reed prices as cheap as possible, we re-package Vandoren reeds to fit the "large letter" postal size. Each reed is still individually sealed in its original packaging but you won’t receive an original sealed outer box. If you wish your reeds to come in the original sealed box (£2 surcharge), please phone one of our shops on 0333 344 0070. Orders of 2 or more boxes will be sent sealed in their original outer boxes.
