Winfield Standard British Oboe Reed
Single standard Winfield British scrape oboe reed.
Nick Winfield started making oboe reeds at age 11, following in his father's professional footsteps. He studied at the Royal College of Music, has been second oboe in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and principal cor anglais in the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. In 1997 he started making reeds full time.
All Winfield oboe reeds are hand-made using hand picked French cane, usually either Mme.Ghys or Alliaud, Ghys being slightly softer than Alliaud.
These Winfield oboe reeds are his standard reed and are wired, with a cork staple and a British scrape.
