Ackerman Music has the largest stock of woodwind, brass and orchestral stringed instruments & sheetmusic across Sussex. In fact we are one of the largest suppliers in the south of the country. With three shops, there is not much that we don't have in stock.

As well as a vast selection of music, we re-order at least once a week from most publishers. So music is quickly obtainable, even if it is not in stock.

We have extremely competitive prices. Our buying power means that we usually have much better prices than an average music shop.

Our workshop checks over all new instruments before they are sold. We do not sell "out of the box", as all new instruments need careful checking and regulation. We have full workshop facilities for carrying out repairs and adjustments.

Everything on this site is carriage free. So the price you see is the total price you pay. Our mail-order service is prompt and efficient.

We have recently added nearly 2000 guitar music titles, and are adding new music all the time. All of this can be purchased securely online and post free.
