York 3028 Preference Cornet The York Preference cornet 3028 has the large full sound, that is sought after by brass bands and soloists alike. The York cornet's rose-brass bell allows for a darker sound, that not only projects, but blends beautifully. It is ideally suited for the brass or military band. 3 stainless-steel centre-sprung valves. 11.68mm bore size, with 124mm bell diameter. 2 water keys. 1st and 3rd valve slide triggers. Silver-plated brass, with rose-brass bell section. Modified mouthpipe, for optimised intonation & sound. Complete with "classic line" hard case.
