Printed Music Award

We are very pleased to be awarded "Printed Music Retailer of the Year". Lynne collected the award at a glittering ceremony in London this October.

New website

We are currently widening the width of our webpages. Until this is finished, some spacings and widths may not be quite right.

We are gradually adding pictures of sheetmusic covers, but this is a long process. Some publishers still cannot provide these I am afraid.

Take it away scheme

From August 2006, we were one of eleven shops selected to take part in a 6 month trial scheme by the Arts Council, which offered 10 months interest free loans for musical instruments. This trial has now come to an end, and due to its success, has now gone nation wide.

We are please to announce that we are taking part in the new Take it Away scheme, and details of this can be found in a link on our home page.

Yamaha free accessories

We are pleased to be able to offer this again. Buy any trumpet, and you will receive free Yamaha and Bam accessories. Full details of what are in the packs can be found in a link on our home page.

Online music

We are adding and amending our online sheetmusic section at a fast pace. We recently added nearly 2000 guitar music titles, as an example. Clarinet and flute music has just been updated, and there are now over 3000 titles in these two sections.

Also recently added, are over 1000 Organ titles, and all the new Associated Board clarinet, flute and violin titles.

The problem is that it is impossible to keep on top of all the new sheetmusic titles that appear, as well as titles that go out of print. There are also still large sections of music that we have yet to put online - vocal music and educational music are prime examples. We are working hard to get these online, but in the meantime please phone to enquire about anything you cannot find on this site.

We do actually keep the largest selection of sheetmusic in Sussex, and possibly further afield as well.
